Glorious news here’s some new promo for the “Quakers” project. One of my favorite tracks from the collective project got a stylish visual treatment. Jonwayne may not resemble your average rapper but his style dwarfs that of an average MC. The track is titled “Smoke” if you’d like to purchase the entire 41-track LP visit http://www.stonesthrow.com/store/album/quakers/quakers

Ever since being introduced to Roc Marciano i’ve been an avid listener. While searching the interwebs I stumbled upon his latest visual release. This joint is titled “Emeralds” and in his usual fashion the rhyme schemes are as gutter as they’ve ever been. Enjoy and if you like myself are a fan then i’m sure you’re anticipating the release of “Reloaded”.

“He used to get upset about so much stuff when we were dealing with the label all the time. We both would be upset. But I would take the calls because when he was upset he would flip, where you might not be able to handle him when he’s wilding out. With me, although I had a temper, I was much calmer about it. But I always remember whenever I would tell him, “Yo Guru, don’t worry about it, they are going to take care of it,” he would be happy as fuck. He would be like, “Yo, let’s go out for a drink.” He was the go-out king. That was his routine. He was definitely a celebratory guy. Anyone from our era knows that Guru was in every club and every bar and every spot. He could go all night, all day. And he would never be tired! - DJ Premier

If you plan to celebrate 420 like I do then you’ll need a cohesive soundtrack to accomplish the task. This tape is dropping at midnight for any and all who burn shrubs. Mixed by the one and only Mr. Owl this is sure to assist while you burn one. Click the photo above for all of the details.

Underground beast Reks has his new album “Straight, No Chaser” dropping on April 24th. It’s fully produced by Statik Selektah and features Action Bronson, Wais P and more… His album “Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme” last year was off the fucking charts, so make sure you don’t miss this.

Yet again Fliptrix doesn’t cease to amaze. The Mobb Deep vocal sample is one of the most defining characteristics to catch my ear on this one. By my own definition “War to Your Door” is an instant classic. The video itself plays out in the fashion of a short film. The footage is taken from the feature ‘La Haine’. Not sure about you guys but i’m anticipating his full length with a quite anxious demeanor. You can purchase the entire EP here http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/war-to-your-door-ep/id520015516
